Tasting Note

Perfumed with hints of spice and white pepper, a complex nose reflecting depth and authenticity. An elegant medium bodied wine with a sweet core of fruit combined with subtle savoury complexity of spice and herb that integrate into the subtle French oak which sits comfortably with the savoury notes and fine-grained tannins. Length and depth of fruit profile in the wine will ensure very good aging.

Product Notes

Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Vineyard Shiraz is a classic and complex Shiraz wine that hails from the Frankland River region of Western Australia. This wine is handpicked from the Isolation Ridge vineyard, which is one of the highest elevation vineyards in the region and is known for producing high-quality fruit that is expressive and full of character. The wine is aged for around 18 months in French oak barrels, giving it a rich and bold flavor profile that is characterized by notes of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, black pepper, and spice. This Shiraz is bold, well-structured, and has a long, dry finish that lingers on the palate. It is a perfect wine to pair with red meats, game, and hearty stews.
