Tasting Note

This is a very clear and bright expression of Chenin Blanc. On the nose, aromas of white peaches combine with ground almonds, frangipane and floral nuances. On the palate, the wine has a lovely creamy texture and a vibrant acidity balances the precise and concentrated flavours which endure on the lingering finish.

Product Notes

Thorne & Daughters Cat's Cradle Old Vine Chenin Blanc is a premium wine hailing from South Africa. Made from old vine Chenin Blanc grapes, it has a pale, straw-like color with complex aromas of lemon zest, baked apple, and honeycomb. On the palate, the wine delivers a luscious mouthfeel with citrus and stone fruit flavors, enlivened by its bright acidity and mineral undertones. This vintage showcases excellent balance and texture, culminating in a long, dry finish. The wine is well-suited for pairing with seafood, light poultry dishes, and even spicy cuisines. With its impressive character, this wine is sure to please even the most discerning palates.
