Aroma & Bouquet: Lilac perfumed nose, cherry fruits with a pinch of aniseed spice. Palate: Black cherry fruits dominate the palate and a pinch of Chinese five spice. A silky elegance combined with a defined tannin structure, both grape and oak tannin to produce a medium-bodied yet powerful style. A Pinot noir that will reward cellaring.

Yarra Yering Pinot Noir is a single-vineyard wine that delights the palate with its bright and vibrant flavors. The wine has been made using the traditional Burgundian techniques of whole-cluster fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels. The wine's aroma is a perfect blend of cherries, dark raspberries and spice with hints of vanilla and smoky oak. It offers rich, layered and complex flavors of black cherry, sweet spice, and black tea, with gentle tannins and a light touch of acidity. The wine boasts impressive longevity and is a great match for grilled fish, roasted duck or braised pork. This Pinot Noir is an exceptional representation of the Yarra Valley's unique terroir.

Yarra Yering

There are quite a few historic winemaking regions in Australia. The Yarra Valley region in Victoria is one of them. Yarra Yering, one of the ancient, reputed and scenic vineyards in this region, was established in 1969 by Dr. Bailey Carrodus. The location of the vineyards, at the base of the Warramate Hills, is a huge attraction for wine enthusiasts across the world.
