Tasting Note

Intensely aromatic, with ripe apricot, honey, orange blossom and rose water leading into layers of mango, lemon curd, cinnamon and subtle musk. The palate is rich and expansive yet beautifully composed, balancing power and breadth with remarkable finesse. Silky and gently viscous in texture, it is full-bodied and mouthfilling while retaining a cool, dry freshness and vibrant cleansing acidity. A long, generous finish brings impressive volume and persistence, leaving a refined interplay of ripe fruit, floral notes and spice.

Product Notes

Yeringberg Viognier is a beautiful and elegant white wine that hails from the Yarra Valley region of Australia. This wine is known for its floral aromas of honeysuckle, apricot, and citrus blossom, followed by a palate that is rich and full-bodied with flavors of stone fruits, tropical fruits, and a hint of spice. Yeringberg Viognier is carefully crafted from hand-harvested grapes that are fermented in French oak barrels, resulting in a well-balanced and complex wine with a long, lingering finish. Perfectly paired with seafood, white meats, or enjoyed on its own, Yeringberg Viognier is a true expression of the Yarra Valley terroir.

About the Winery

eringberg is one of Australia’s historic family-owned wine estates, located in Coldstream in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, northeast of Melbourne. The estate was established in 1863 when Swiss-born Baron Frédéric-Guillaume de Pury purchased around 500 hectares and planted its first vineyards. By the late 19th century, Yeringberg had become one of Australia’s most celebrated wineries, winning medals in Australia and internationally. Wine production ceased in 1921 following the decline of the Australian wine market after the First World War, but the de Pury family revived the vineyard in 1969.
