Tasting Note

The wine is elegant with fresh pear and floral notes. Blending has created a palate that is a graceful balance of rich and creamy textures with vibrant acidity. Flavours of baked Gala apple, Bosc pear, hazelnut, vanilla and oak spices round out its appeal; making it well suited to enjoy on its own or pair well with a wide range of dishes.

Product Notes

Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Chardonnay is a beautifully balanced and elegant wine that showcases the best of Napa Valley. Made from carefully selected Chardonnay grapes grown in the prestigious region, this wine offers a rich and complex bouquet of ripe peach, apple, and tropical fruit aromas. On the palate, notes of vanilla, caramel, and a hint of oak are complemented by a crisp acidity and creamy texture, creating a luxurious mouthfeel. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a lasting impression of sophistication and finesse. Enjoy this exceptional Chardonnay on its own or paired with seafood, poultry, or creamy pasta dishes.

About the Winery

Freemark Abbey

Freemark Abbey Winery is one of Napa Valley’s historic estates, with roots dating back to 1886. Located just north of St. Helena, the winery was originally founded by Josephine Tychson, one of the first female winemakers in Napa Valley, before evolving through several ownerships in the early 20th century. The modern identity of Freemark Abbey was established in 1939, when three partners—Charles Freeman, Markquand Foster, and Abbey Ahern—combined their names to create the winery’s distinctive title.
