Product Notes

Gérard Bertrand Cigalus Blanc is a premium-quality, organic, and biodynamic white wine produced from a unique blend of grapes grown in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of Southern France. The wine is the perfect balance of freshness, complexity, and elegance, thanks to the careful selection of grapes, minimalist winemaking techniques, and aging in French oak barrels. The nose is fragrant and fruity, with floral notes and a hint of minerality, while the palate is rich, textured, and layered, with flavors of citrus fruits, ripe pear, and honey. With its impressive depth and character, Gérard Bertrand Cigalus Blanc is a must-try for any wine lover looking for something truly special.

About the Winery

Gérard Bertrand

The story of Gérard Bertrand remains closely linked with three generations of the Bertrand family. The wine estate and winemaking craft have remained associated with the renowned winegrowers Paule, Georges, and Gérard Bertrand, getting passed down through generations. The winery’s fame started coming into light in 1975 when Georges Bertrand took his then ten-year-old son, Gérard, to harvest grapes on the Château de Villemajou in the Corbières wine appellation.
