Tasting Note

The traditional Brunello has a full, red-fruited bouquet with an undertow of blood orange, citrus, balsamic and spice. If the vintage is felt anywhere it is perhaps in the slightly edgier tannins, but these are more than offset by the wild cherry fruits, herbs, mint and stones so typical of this zone to give an overall handsome, traditional feel

Product Notes

Le Ragnaie Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a rich and complex red wine that hails from the Tuscany region in Italy. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, it is a true expression of the terroir in which it is grown. The nose presents an intense bouquet of ripe berries, dark cherries, herbs, and spices, while the palate is full-bodied with a solid tannic structure and balanced acidity. The finish is long and persistent, leaving behind flavors of leather and tobacco. This wine is aged in oak barrels for at least three years before release, with additional aging occurring in the bottle. Le Ragnaie Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is an exceptional wine that pairs well with hearty meat dishes, aged cheeses, and chocolate desserts.
