Tasting Note

Notes of ripe blackberry and dried plum balance more herbaceous characteristics of pine and rosemary; still a fruit forward, approachable wine that will become a fast friend; a buoyant wine that will lift up your pallet rather than weight it down.

Product Notes

Martha Stoumen Wines' Post Flirtation is a delicious red blend that perfectly captures the essence of California's vineyards. This wine is made with 55% Carignan, 20% Zinfandel, 15% Petite Sirah, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, sourced from different vineyards throughout Mendocino County. The result is a fruity and spicy flavor profile, with notes of black cherry, blackberry, winter spices, and tobacco. The wine is medium-bodied and has a smooth texture with a long and lingering finish. Overall, Post Flirtation is an excellent choice for wine enthusiasts who enjoy complex blends that are both approachable and sophisticated.

About the Winery

Martha Stoumen Wines

Founded and established in 2014, Martha Stoumen Wines is a one-woman, self-funded winemaker and grower company and project-based in Northern California. The winery originated from Martha Stoumen’s desire to remake and recapture a winemaking and farming culture of patience that has long faded away from the world.
