Tasting Note

Intensely pigmented colour of ruby. Floral and fruity aroma on a background of toasted notes from the cask. On the palate it’s expansive and develops beautifully. The notes in its aroma are now complemented by hints of bay and mint.

Product Notes

Miguel Torres Cordillera Carignan is a wine that captures the essence of Chilean terroir and the talent of the Torres winemakers. Made from 100% Carignan grapes grown in the Maule Valley, this red wine is characterized by its intense and lively flavors. It has an attractive deep ruby color and a nose that bursts with red fruit aromas such as blackcurrant and raspberry, accompanied by a spicy touch. The palate is fresh and fruity, with a medium body and a long finish that enhances its complexity. This wine pairs perfectly with roasted meats, stews, and mature cheeses, making it a versatile choice for any occasion.

About the Winery

Miguel Torres

Miguel Torres, a family-owned wine estate in Chile, has been in business for 30 years. Established in 1979, this company has been producing wines with utmost respect for the environment and terroirs where its grapes are grown. Miguel Torres was originally from Spain, but when he arrived at the Curico Valley in Chile in 1979, he knew that he had to start his winemaking business from there, because of the excellent soil quality and climate conditions of the location.
