Mullineux Schist Syrah is a rich and complex wine that boasts intense aromas and flavors of dark fruit, spicy pepper, and savory herbs. Made from 100% Syrah grapes grown on the schist soils of Swartland, South Africa, this wine showcases the terroir of the region with a distinctive minerality and depth of flavor. The grapes are handpicked and carefully sorted before being fermented in small batches and aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. The result is a bold and concentrated wine with firm tannins and a long, lingering finish. Perfect for pairing with grilled meats or hearty stews, Mullineux Schist Syrah is a standout selection for any wine enthusiast.

They put all their winemaking experience into the brand they created, Mullineux, in South Africa’s Swartland region. As soon as Chris and Andrea spotted the terroirs, climatic conditions and the soil qualities of this region, they knew that this was where they wanted to set up their label.
