Tasting Note

Brilliant pale straw with green hues. Extremely bright and aromatic, this wine jumps out of the glass with fragrant white floral and kaffir lime characters. All the hallmarks of an excellent vintage. Crisp acid driven wine, plenty of fresh lime and other citrus flavours. A powerful backbone of mouth-watering acidity keeps it all in check finishing with perfect balance and great length. This release marks the 36th release of the Traditionale, and sits comfortably amongst some of our best vintages. Extremely concentrated, this wine will stand the test of time. Drink now or cellar for 10+ years.

Pikes Traditionale Riesling is a delightfully refreshing and balanced white wine. Hailing from the Clare Valley in South Australia, this vintage has a pale straw color and a fragrant bouquet of lime, lemon, and orange blossom. On the palate, it boasts citrusy flavors alongside a crisp acidity, subtly balanced with just a hint of sweetness. About the Winery

Pikes

The story and history of Pikes run along with that of the Pike family. Since 1886, the family produced and distributed handcrafted, authentic, and high-quality wines in Australia. They sold their first beverage, the Pikes Beer, in 1886. Then followed their line of cordials and soft drinks since 1940. Their first wine, the Pikes wine got released in 1985. As such, the involvement of the Pike family in the beverage industry is a family tradition that they take exceptional pride in and enjoy.
