Tasting Note

Deep ruby in colour. Bursting with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, raisins and spice on the nose. The palate is nicely structured with ripe and round tannins, a refreshing acidity which beautifully balances the sweetness, and a long finish.

Product Notes

Quinta do Infantado Unfiltered LBV Port is a premium fortified wine that is produced in the Douro region of Portugal. This medium to full-bodied port has a luscious dark fruit aroma with hints of dark chocolate and caramel. The result of skilled winemaking and careful ageing is a smooth and velvety mouthfeel that is expressive and complex. Its unfiltered nature gives it a slightly hazy appearance, and the bottle will have a sediment at the bottom, showcasing the authenticity of the product. This vintage port pairs well with rich desserts, cheese plates, and makes an excellent after-dinner drink. Quinta do Infantado Unfiltered LBV Port is a true masterpiece of Portuguese winemaking.

About the Winery

Quinta do Infantado

Quinta do Infantado is a Portugal wine label that has been revolutionising the wine market ever since 1979. It changed the scene of the bottled Ports ever since it started making high-quality, estate wines from grapes sourced from the best of the vineyards located in Portugal. Thanks to this brand, the small winegrowers of Portugal got their due, which had been denied to them for a long time.
