Tasting Note

The Rosso is bright ruby red in colour. On the nose, it has aromas of fresh berries, Morello cherry and blackberries that are complemented by a hint of vanilla spice. This is a fragrant, intense wine with smooth, finely-balanced tannins and a persistent, aromatic finish.

Product Notes

San Polo Rosso di Montalcino is a vibrant and bold red wine that captures the essence of Tuscany. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, the wine is a deep ruby-red color and boasts distinctive aromas of red fruits, spices, and a hint of tobacco. The taste is full-bodied, with a silky texture and well-balanced tannins. The wine is aged for 12 months in large oak barrels, which imparts a subtle, yet noticeable, hint of vanilla and spice on the finish. This elegant wine pairs well with hearty Italian dishes, such as pasta with rich tomato sauce or grilled steak with roasted vegetables.
