Tasting Note

Fashioned with the savoury, food friendly dry whites of Southern France in mind, the Woodcutter’s Semillon is the ideal tonic after a long day in the vineyard. This youthful Semillon offers delicate scents of calamansi, limestone, candle wax, and toasted brioche.

Product Notes

Torbreck Woodcutters Semillon is a refreshing and elegant white wine that hails from the Barossa Valley in Australia. This vibrant wine showcases lively aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers, and crisp green apples. On the palate, it is zesty and bright with flavors of lemon, lime, and a hint of tropical fruit. The acidity is well-balanced, giving it a clean and refreshing finish. Made from old vine Semillon grapes, this wine is a true expression of the unique terroir of the region. Perfect for pairing with seafood dishes or enjoyed on its own, Torbreck Woodcutters Semillon is a must-try for any wine lover.

About the Winery

Torbreck

Located in Australia’s premium wine-producing region of Barossa Valley, Torbreck Estate was established in 1994 to produce some exceptional quality Rhone-style wines. The first vines were planted here during the 1840s. The plantings were all of Rhone Valley varietals, such as, Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvedre. Today, the red and white wines produced at Torbreck are considered some of the best in the Barossa region.
