Product Notes

Varvaglione Susumaniello Rosso del Salento IGP is a rich and robust Italian red wine that showcases the unique and indigenous Susumaniello grape variety. Grown in the sunny region of Salento in the heel of Italy's boot, this wine boasts flavors of ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries with a hint of spice and earthiness. The wine is aged in oak barrels, adding depth and complexity to its velvety smooth texture. With a deep ruby red color and a lingering finish, Varvaglione Susumaniello Rosso del Salento IGP is the perfect accompaniment to hearty Italian dishes, grilled meats, and aged cheeses.
