Product Notes

Varvaglione Salice Salentino DOC is a rich and full-bodied red wine hailing from the sunny region of Puglia in southern Italy. Made primarily from the indigenous Negroamaro grape, this wine boasts bold flavors of dark fruits, earthy spices, and hints of chocolate. It is aged in oak barrels, adding a layer of complexity and a smooth finish. The wine has a deep ruby color with a slightly tannic structure, making it an ideal pairing with hearty dishes like roasted meats, aged cheeses, and pasta with red sauce. Varvaglione Salice Salentino DOC is a true expression of the terroir of Puglia, showcasing the region's rich history and winemaking tradition.
