Beautiful purity of limes and ripe gooseberry, with tropical, floral and herbal notes, ruby grapefruit and white pear drop on the nish. This is cool climate Sauvignon Blanc – vibrant, mineral, elegant, balanced and delicate, with a long, layered and complex finish.

Product Notes

Iona Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, expressive white wine from South Africa’s cool Elgin Valley. Grown on vineyards overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, its grapes benefit from a long, slow ripening season that preserves freshness and develops vibrant flavour. Expect aromas of lime, grapefruit and green apple, often complemented by hints of passion fruit, herbs and minerality. On the palate, lively acidity gives the wine a clean, refreshing character, while subtle texture adds depth and balance. Iona Sauvignon Blanc pairs beautifully with oysters, grilled fish, fresh salads and goat’s cheese. Serve chilled and enjoy it young to appreciate its bright character.
