Product Notes

Veglio Angelo Barolo DOCG is a premium red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Piedmont region of Italy. It is made from the best selection of grapes and aged for at least three years, with two years in oak casks, to deliver a well-rounded and complex flavour profile. The wine has a garnet-red colour and an intense aroma of red fruit, spices, and hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, with velvety tannins, and a robust structure. This wine pairs perfectly with rich meat dishes, truffle-based dishes, aged cheeses, and dark chocolate. Veglio Angelo Barolo DOCG is an exceptional wine that delivers timeless elegance and depth in every sip.

About the Winery

Veglio Angelo

Veglio Angelo, also known as Veglio La Morra is a rich and traditional wine brand from Italy. The idea of this brand was first conceived in 1886. A major highlight of this brand is that it is the collaboration of some of the prestigious grape varietals of Italy – Dolcetti, Barbera, Fresia and Barolo. In 1886, Francesco acquired a wine farm in the Piedmontese town not only to satisfy his winemaking passion but also to make his family independent.
