Product Notes

Trapiche Melodías Torrontes is a refreshing white wine that hails from Argentina. This wine is made from 100% Torrontes grape variety and has a pale yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose displays intense aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits, and hints of grapes and peaches. On the palate, the wine is juicy, crisp and well-balanced, with notes of lemon and lime, fresh herbs, and a mineral finish. The acidity is mild and the wine has a light-to-medium body with a distinct crispness that makes it a great wine to have with grilled seafood, roasted chicken, and creamy pasta dishes. It is easy to drink, refreshing, and perfect for summer days. Overall, Trapiche Melodías Torrontes is a deliciously unique wine that is great for any occasion.

About the Winery

Trapiche

Trapiche, located in the extremely wine-rich region of Mendoza in Argentina, is a winery that was set up during 1883. This area comprises of over 1000 hectares and it is not surprising to know that this winery is the largest wine producer in Argentina. When Tiburcio Benegas bought the Trapiche winery during the 1880s, it was only a very small vineyard. Today, the place, owned by Grupo Penaflor, encompasses many vineyards from the Mendoza region.
