Product Notes

Trapiche Melodías Merlot is a smooth and delicious red wine that is crafted from the finest grapes grown in Argentina's Mendoza region. This wine has an alluring deep red color that gives way to an aromatic nose of cherries, black currants, and vanilla with hints of spices. On the palate, it boasts a balance of soft tannins and bright acidity, leading to a long and silky finish. Melodías Merlot is a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes such as grilled meats, pasta or cheese plates. It's perfect for sipping on its own or for enjoying during a casual dinner with friends or family.

About the Winery

Trapiche

Trapiche, located in the extremely wine-rich region of Mendoza in Argentina, is a winery that was set up during 1883. This area comprises of over 1000 hectares and it is not surprising to know that this winery is the largest wine producer in Argentina. When Tiburcio Benegas bought the Trapiche winery during the 1880s, it was only a very small vineyard. Today, the place, owned by Grupo Penaflor, encompasses many vineyards from the Mendoza region.
