Product Notes

F.X. Pichler Ried Kellerberg Riesling is a renowned Austrian wine known for its exceptional quality and unique character. Grown in the prestigious Wachau region along the Danube River, this wine is made from carefully selected Riesling grapes that thrive in the mineral-rich soils of the Ried Kellerberg vineyard. The result is a wine that showcases vibrant aromas of citrus, peach, and white flowers, with a crisp acidity and a long, elegant finish. This Riesling is a true expression of terroir, reflecting the distinctive characteristics of the Wachau region and the skilled craftsmanship of winemaker F.X. Pichler.

About the Winery

F.X. Pichler

F.X. Pichler is one of Austria’s most celebrated wineries, located in the Wachau—a breathtaking stretch of the Danube Valley designated a UNESCO World Heritage site for its dramatic scenery. The Pichler family has cultivated vineyards in the region for five generations. Franz Xaver Pichler established the estate in 1971, and today his son, Lucas Pichler, continues the family’s winemaking legacy. What began as a modest three hectares under Lucas’s grandfather has grown to twenty hectares, and as of 2024 all single-vineyard sites are fully certified organic.
