Tasting Note

Les Chaumées is a consistent, very elegant, mineral-driven wine. Flint and smoke on the nose segue to a structured palate that showcases notes of vibrant citrus fruit and rounded edges that taper off into a focused, lingering finish

Product Notes

Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Chaumées' is a beautiful wine produced in the Chassagne-Montrachet region of France. This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and is aged in oak barrels for 12 months to give it a rich and complex flavor. The aromas of this wine are dominated by notes of honey, hazelnut, white flowers, and exotic fruits. The palate is full-bodied with a great minerality and freshness that provides a delicate balance to the wine. Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Chaumées' is the perfect wine to pair with seafood, white meat, and vegetarian dishes. This wine is excellent for drinking now, but can also be aged for several years to come.
