Tasting Note

A rosé with an original profile, of a very pale pink colour, with shades of grey and white. On the nose, the aromas of red berries are mixed with very fond aromas of small red berries. On the palate, a slight pearl gives the wine all its freshness and exalts the fruit. Elegant, the finish develops on a fresh and mineral note.

Product Notes

Gérard Bertrand Gris Blanc is a refreshing and well-balanced rosé wine from southern France. Made from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre grapes, this wine boasts a gorgeous pale pink hue with aromas of fresh berries, rose petals and citrus fruits. The palate is crisp and delicate with notes of strawberry, peach and grapefruit. Vibrant acidity and a touch of minerality offer a clean and lingering finish. A versatile wine, Gris Blanc pairs perfectly with seafood, salads, white meat and cheese. This wine is a testament to Gérard Bertrand's passion for sustainable viticulture and his commitment to creating quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.

About the Winery

Gérard Bertrand

The story of Gérard Bertrand remains closely linked with three generations of the Bertrand family. The wine estate and winemaking craft have remained associated with the renowned winegrowers Paule, Georges, and Gérard Bertrand, getting passed down through generations. The winery’s fame started coming into light in 1975 when Georges Bertrand took his then ten-year-old son, Gérard, to harvest grapes on the Château de Villemajou in the Corbières wine appellation.
