Tasting Note

An innovative baby Super-Tuscan, Dogajolo combines the power and deep flavours of a young wine, with the elegance and balance from the oak ageing. Full bodied, yet soft on the palate with fruity cherry notes interlaced with coffee, vanilla and spice, this is complex and well-developed.

Product Notes

Carpineto Dogajolo Toscana Rosso IGT is a popular red wine from Tuscany, Italy. It is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other grapes, resulting in a unique and sophisticated flavor profile. This wine is characterized by its intense ruby red color and an aroma of red fruits, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, it is juicy and well-balanced, with soft tannins and a long, smooth finish. It is considered a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes, from pasta to roasted meats. Carpineto Dogajolo Toscana Rosso IGT is a fantastic choice for those seeking a high-quality, affordable Italian wine.

About the Winery

Carpineto

It was the winemaking passion of wine experts, Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo that resulted in the birth of the Italian wine label, Carpineto in the year 1967. The name of the brand is inspired by the Greek word, carpos, which means fruit. Today, the younger generation of these experts are doing their best to take the legacy of the brand forward, in their own style, without compromising on the traditional winemaking methods.
