Tasting Note

Intense ruby red in colour with garnet hues, this wine shows typical aromas of violets and red berries on the nose, with hints of forest fruit, sandalwood, vanilla and coffee. It is intense and ethereal with a long finish. It is full-bodied on the palate, with a dense texture and round tannins.

Product Notes

San Polo Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a luxurious Italian red wine that represents the pinnacle of winemaking excellence in Tuscany's iconic Brunello di Montalcino region. Made entirely from Sangiovese grapes, this wine has aged for a minimum of six years, including three years in oak barrels, followed by additional aging in bottles before release. The result is a complex and rich wine with deep ruby color and vibrant aromas of dark fruit, spice, leather, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, persistent finish. This wine is ideal for pairing with hearty meat dishes, game, and full-flavored cheeses.
