Mullineux Granite Chenin Blanc is a gem of a wine produced in Swartland, South Africa. Made exclusively from Chenin Blanc grapes grown on granite soils, it is a beautifully crafted wine that is both complex and elegant. The nose is floral and delicate, with aromas of white peach, lime, and honey. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of green apple, pear, and a subtle mineral streak. The acidity is well-balanced, lending a fresh, crisp finish. They put all their winemaking experience into the brand they created, Mullineux, in South Africa’s Swartland region. As soon as Chris and Andrea spotted the terroirs, climatic conditions and the soil qualities of this region, they knew that this was where they wanted to set up their label.
