Product Notes

Testalonga El Bandito Monkey Gone to Heaven is a natural wine produced by Testalonga, a winery located in the Swartland region of South Africa. This wine is made from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes that are grown organically and biodynamically. The wine is fermented with native yeasts and aged in old oak barrels to preserve the natural flavors. The end result is a complex, earthy, and refreshing wine that is full of character. The aromas of honey, orange blossom, and lemon zest are complimented with flavors of pear, quince, and a hint of minerality. This unfiltered, unfined, and vegan-friendly wine is perfect for those looking for a unique and natural option.

About the Winery

Testalonga

Testalonga Winery is one of the newest wineries in the world. It was set up by Craig and Carla Hawkins in the year 2008. Located along the Swartland Mountains of South Africa, this winery is slowly picking up a name for itself in the winemaking industry. The owners of this winery recently announced that they were taking around 11 hectares of the organic vineyards on the granite soils of Paardeberg and 4 hectares of vineyards on the sandstone soils of Piketberg on rent.
