Tasting Note

The 2014 Pinot Noir Tina Marie Vineyard is a wine of subtlety and finesse. Lifted and understated, the Tina Marie is beautifully persistent on the palate, with pretty floral and savory notes that give the wine its aromatic top notes. Bright red cherry, plum and rose petal linger in this mid-weight, tightly wound wine.

Product Notes

Anthill Farms Winery is a unique California winery that produces exceptional Pinot Noir wines. One of their most popular varieties is the Tina Marie, which is named after the co-founder's grandmother. This Pinot Noir comes from a small vineyard in the Sonoma Coast AVA and is made in a traditional Burgundian style. The wine is fermented with native yeasts and is aged in French oak barrels for ten months. The result is a wine with a deep, dark ruby color and a complex bouquet of dark fruit, earthy tones, and floral aromas. The texture is silky and rich, and the flavors are layered with black cherry, raspberry, and spice. The finish is long and smooth, making it the perfect wine to pair with roasted meats or a decadent cheese plate.

About the Winery

Anthill Farms Winery

Anthill Farms Winery was established in 2004 in California. A group of friends, working at Williams-Selyem, got together to form the Anthill Farms Winery in this region. They had enough winemaking experience and they had visited many wine-rich terroirs in California, Oregon and Virginia before zeroing on this particular location for their label.
