Tasting Note

This wine is bursting with ripe peaches, passion fruit and grapefruit with touches of cedar, dried herbs and fresh straw. On the palate notes of fig and lemon zest are also prominent. This wine is generous in body with a beautifully refreshing acidity and long length. An exciting example of Sauvignon Blanc that is very different from it's French and Kiwi counterparts.

Product Notes

Orin Swift Blank Stare is a luxurious white wine from Napa Valley, California. This Chardonnay-focused blend is made with grapes harvested from premium vineyards in the Russian River Valley, Carneros, and Oak Knoll AVAs. With its attractive pale gold color and aromas of fresh tropical fruits, vanilla, and citrus, this wine captivates the senses. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of ripe peach, honeydew, and lemon zest, wrapped in a creamy texture that lingers long on the finish. Orin Swift Blank Stare is a complex and elegant wine that pairs well with seafood, roast chicken, or creamy pasta dishes.

About the Winery

Orin Swift

The history and venture of Orin Swift date back to as late as 1995 and begins with winemaker David Swift Phinney. David had been involved in the winemaking business for a long time, working in renowned wineries of the Napa Valley region. The experience and know-how he gained from his hands-on job at these places, including Whitehall Lane and Robert Mondavi Winery, helped him significantly later on to manage Orin Swift. Even as a student, he took up a friend’s offer and visited Florence, Italy. There, he got introduced to the wonders of wine. He also learnt the methods and practices of winemaking, getting him hooked.
