Tasting Note

It has a classic, almost Russian River-like nose of mulled red and black fruits, forest floor, conifer, and spiced orange. This carries to a medium-bodied Pinot Noir with wonderful purity of fruit, a pure, precise texture, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. It’s going to be even better in another year or so and should have a decade of prime drinking

Product Notes

Senses Day One Pinot Noir is a high-quality wine produced with utmost care and sophistication. It has a deep ruby color with a bouquet of fruity aromas of blackberry and cherry, giving it a warm, inviting character. The palate presents a rich experience of flavors, with highlights of raspberry, dark chocolate, and forest floor, ending with soft, plush tannins and a long, supple finish. This Pinot Noir has been aged in French oak barrels, imparting a subtle smokiness and silky texture. It pairs perfectly with roasted meats, game birds, and creamy cheeses. Overall, this wine is a true sensory delight that will leave a lasting impression on your palate.

About the Winery

Senses

The story and history of Senses began as a dream and aspiration of three childhood friends, Max Thieriot, Myles Lawrence-Briggs, and Christopher Strieter. Since childhood, the three wished to produce some of the best wines and set up their distinct winery. Their vision and ambition came true in 2011 when they established Senses Wines.
