About the Winery

Seghesio

Seghesio has been a cornerstone of Sonoma County winemaking since 1895, when Italian immigrant Edoardo Seghesio planted his first Zinfandel vines at the estate’s Home Ranch vineyard in Alexander Valley. The family remained committed to grape growing throughout Prohibition, becoming the only local winery to survive the era. Since 2011, Seghesio has been part of Crimson Wine Group, while continuing to honour its family heritage through a focus on estate vineyards and sustainable farming.
