Product Notes

Seghesio Sonoma County Zinfandel is a high-quality wine that is made by a reputable winery in the heart of California's wine country. This wine is made from the finest grapes grown in the region, with an emphasis on balance and complexity. This Zinfandel is full-bodied, with intense flavors of blackberry, black cherry, and spice, which are complemented by the gentle tannins and acidity. The wine has a long finish with a hint of vanilla and oak. This wine pairs perfectly with a variety of hearty dishes, including grilled meats, pasta dishes, and stews. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a rich, flavorful wine to enjoy with their meal.

About the Winery

Seghesio

Seghesio has been a cornerstone of Sonoma County winemaking since 1895, when Italian immigrant Edoardo Seghesio planted his first Zinfandel vines at the estate’s Home Ranch vineyard in Alexander Valley. The family remained committed to grape growing throughout Prohibition, becoming the only local winery to survive the era. Since 2011, Seghesio has been part of Crimson Wine Group, while continuing to honour its family heritage through a focus on estate vineyards and sustainable farming.
