Product Notes

Planeta Chardonnay Sicilia Menfi D.O.C is a perfect embodiment of the warm Sicilian sun and the refreshing sea breeze. It is produced by Planeta, one of the top-notch wineries in Italy. This wine comes from the Menfi vineyard, which is situated in the western part of Sicily, renowned for its rich soil and ideal climatic conditions for viticulture. The grapes used in this wine are handpicked and go through fermentation in stainless steel tanks, before being aged in oak barrels for a few months. It is a light-bodied wine with a bright and crisp acidity and a pleasant minerality. The wine exudes an aroma of tropical fruits, ripe peaches, and a hint of toasted nuts, with a lingering finish of tangy citrus notes. This is an ideal wine to drink on a hot summer day, by the beach, or with a light seafood dish.
