Product Notes

Chateau Musar Hochar Pere et Fils is a wine produced in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon by the family-run Chateau Musar winery. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Cinsault grapes, harvested from the winery's vineyards situated at an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level. The wine is rich and full-bodied with flavors of dark fruit and spice, balanced by a tannic structure that gives it an exceptional aging potential. It is aged for one year in oak barrels, followed by a minimum of three years in bottle before release. This wine is known for its complexity and is considered a masterpiece of Lebanese winemaking.

About the Winery

Chateau Musar

The Lebanon-based family winery, Chateau Musar was established in 1930. Gaston Hochar set up this winery at a place called Ghazir, located within a short distance from the Lebanese capital city of Beirut. The wines from this label are made from high-quality Musar grapes that are cultivated on the 1000-feet tall vines cultivated on Beqaa Valley.
