Product Notes

Ocampo Listán Negro is a rich and flavorful red wine hailing from the Canary Islands in Spain. Made from the Listán Negro grape, this wine boasts intense aromas of dark fruits, tobacco, and spices. On the palate, it offers a velvety texture with well-integrated tannins and a long, lingering finish. The wine is aged in oak barrels, adding notes of vanilla and toasted oak to the flavor profile. Ocampo Listán Negro is a versatile wine that pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, from roasted meats to hearty stews. This is a must-try wine for those who appreciate bold and complex reds.

About the Winery

Ocampo

Ocampo is a boutique winery located in the Tacoronte-Acentejo appellation in northern Tenerife, where steep slopes, Atlantic influence, and volcanic soils create uniquely expressive wines. The estate sits between 280 and 400 meters above sea level, with vineyards planted largely on ungrafted, old-vine stocks of native Canarian varieties. These are cultivated using sustainable, low-intervention methods that emphasize soil health and traditional training systems such as cordón Royat.
