Tasting Note

Inspired by Provencal Rosés, the Rivettis decided to produce one rosé from their porfolio. The fascinating characteristics of Sangiovese and Prugnolo Gentile, permitted us to create a wine that shows great character, an intense aroma, and which is very pleasant to drink. It has a floral and fruity bouquet with hints of citrus and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, it is wonderfully fresh and delicate with satisfying minerality and an all-embracing acidity.

Product Notes

La Spinetta Il Rosè di Casanova is a beautiful and refreshing rosé wine crafted in the Piemonte region of northern Italy. Made primarily from Sangiovese grapes, this wine is elegant and balanced, with delicate floral aromas, flavors of juicy red fruits, and a crisp, dry finish. It is aged for only a few months in stainless steel tanks, preserving the bright fruit flavors and ensuring a fresh and lively character. This rosé is perfect as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to light summer meals, salads, grilled seafood, and vegetable dishes. Overall, La Spinetta Il Rosè di Casanova is a delightful and easy-drinking wine that embodies the essence of Italian summer.

About the Winery

La Spinetta

The journey of La Spinetta started in the early years of the 1960s with Giuseppe Rivetti and Lidia, his wife. The two were dedicated and expert farmers who held a colossal amount of knowledge and appreciation for the tradition of cultivation and winemaking. They also possessed immense curiosity and interest in knowing what the future holds. Giuseppe and Lidia exemplified respect, humility, and ambition in their work and passion. The values they hold dear define and signify the philosophy of the winery of La Spinetta to this day.
