Product Notes

Teso la Monja Victorino is an exceptional wine that embodies the rich history and tradition of Spanish winemaking. Crafted in the heart of the Toro region, this wine is a true expression of the unique terroir and climate of the area. Made from 100% Tinta de Toro grapes, Teso la Monja Victorino is a powerful and intense red wine with bold flavors of ripe black fruit, earthy spices, and hints of toasted oak. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, resulting in a smooth and elegant finish. With its complex flavor profile and smooth tannins, Teso la Monja Victorino is the perfect choice for those seeking a sophisticated and well-balanced wine experience.

About the Winery

Teso la Monja

Teso La Monja is a prestigious winery located in the Toro DOC of Castilla y León, Spain, founded in 2007 by Marcos and Miguel Ángel Eguren, members of the historic Eguren winemaking family from Rioja Alavesa. After shaping the modern reputation of Toro with their previous project, Bodegas Numanthia, the Egurens established Teso La Monja to focus on the elegance and expressive potential of the native Tinta de Toro grape. The winery remains family-owned, with the next generation, including Eduardo Eguren, actively involved in vineyard management and winemaking.
