Tasting Note

Post Scriptum is a partner wine to Chryseia, drawn from the same vineyards. Its profile is similar, with expressive, fresh and concentrated fruit married to exquisite balance and elegance. Lighter oaked, it is ready to enjoy at a younger age.

Product Notes

Prats & Symington Post Scriptum is a Portuguese red wine that captures the essence of the Douro Valley. This wine is made from hand-selected grapes of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca varieties. The unique blend creates a wine with a deep ruby color and a complex aroma of red fruits, spices, and a hint of oak. On the palate, the wine has a full body with a long and elegant finish. This wine is perfect for pairing with rich, flavorful dishes, and can even be aged for a few years to enhance its complexity. Overall, Prats & Symington Post Scriptum is a luxurious wine that truly embodies the rich culture and flavors of Portugal.

About the Winery

Prats & Symington

Prats & Symington is the collaboration of two famous winemaking families-Prats and Symington. The Symingtons sought to combine their extensive knowledge of the terroir and grape varieties of the Douro region with the experience of Bruno Prats in the Bordeaux region.  The alliance took off as the Prats & Symington Limitada in 1999, which sought to create the best wines from the best grapes of the region's best vineyards and stay true to the Bordeaux spirit. Chryseia 2000 was the first vintage launched by the company in 2000. The Chryseia project was started in the Douro Valley of Portugal, famed for its vineyards and wines produced from the grapes there.
