Tasting Note

Brilliant mahogany colour with attractive reddish glints. Aromas of pastries and wood appear on the nose. In the mouth it provides a pleasing silky sensation and a certain sweetness and provides a wonderfully long finish.

Product Notes

Barbadillo Cream Sherry is a rich and complex fortified wine that is produced in the southern Spanish region of Jerez. This sweet sherry is made from a blend of Palomino and Pedro Ximenez grapes that are aged for at least two years using a Solera system. The result is a deep golden color with aromas of dried fruits, caramel, and vanilla. On the palate, it is smooth and velvety with flavors of raisins, figs, and a hint of oak. The combination of sweetness and nutty complexity make Barbadillo Cream Sherry a perfect after-dinner drink or dessert wine, best served slightly chilled.

About the Winery

Barbadillo

Benigno Barbadillo Hortiguela established this family-owned winery in the year 1821. He moved to Sanlucar after living n Mexico for 20 years, and he set up his company in this region, understanding the potential and richness of the terroirs here. Today, this wine brand is the biggest producer of Manzanilla varietal in the Jerez region.
