Tasting Note

Delighful light amber colour. The smooth aromas tell of ageing in wood and reveal a touch of cinnamon; these same characteristics appear on the palate. Smooth and honest in the mouth with a pleasant persistence

Product Notes

Barbadillo Medium Amontillado is a rich and complex sherry from the prestigious Barbadillo winery in the Spanish region of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This wine is made from the Palomino grape variety and aged for an average of 12 years using the traditional solera system. Its golden color is the result of a unique oxidative aging process, which gives the wine its nutty and caramel-like flavors. It has a medium body and a dry finish with a hint of sweetness, making it an ideal aperitif or a perfect match for savory dishes like tapas. Barbadillo Medium Amontillado is a highly versatile wine that can be enjoyed all year round and is guaranteed to elevate any meal or occasion.

Today, this wine brand is the biggest producer of Manzanilla varietal in the Jerez region.
