Tasting Note

Pale amber in colour. The nose opens with aromas of vanilla and raisins. On the palate, there is a great balance between fresh fruit flavours and more complex, spicy flavours from oak ageing. The finish is fresh and long-lasting.

Product Notes

Sandeman Tawny Port is one of the most celebrated fortified wines in the world. This carefully crafted beverage embodies a rich and opulent flavor profile, highlighted by its complex aromas and depth of character. With its blend of aged wines, this indulgent tawny port presents notes of dried fruit, baked apple, nuts, and caramel that linger on the palate.

The wine has a mahogany color, and its vibrant hues leave a lasting impression on the eye. The Sandeman Tawny Port is best served at room temperature, and its smooth finish makes it an amazing companion to desserts, cheese, and nuts. This is a perfect wine that will evoke emotions of warmth and comfort, making it ideal for sharing with friends and family.

About the Winery

Sandeman

The Sandeman winery was first established in 1790 by brothers George and David Sandeman. Eight years later, David quit and moved on to a different job, leaving George Sandeman to handle the affairs of the winery.  With its headquarters in Portugal, the Sandeman winery is quite famous for its Port & Sherry brand of wines. When you go on a wine tourism tour to Portugal, you cannot afford to miss the Sandeman winery.
