Tasting Note

A pure and modern reflection of Barbera with dark berried fruits, plum and cherry and a touch of delicate spice. The well-balanced palate shows great suavity, with finegrained tannins and lifted sweet cherry fruit on the long finish.

Product Notes

Brezza Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a red wine from the Piedmont region of Italy that is made from the Barbera grape variety. This wine is intensely aromatic, with notes of black cherry, plum, and sweet spices on the nose. On the palate, the wine has a rich, full-bodied texture, with flavors of cherry, raspberry, and dark chocolate. The tannins are smooth and well-integrated, adding structure and complexity to the wine. This is a wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a range of foods, such as roasted meats, pasta dishes, and aged cheeses. Overall, Brezza Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a delicious and elegant wine that showcases the best of Piedmont's winemaking traditions.

About the Winery

Brezza

The history and story of Brezza began in 1885 when the Brezza family operated their winery on the land they purchased in the town and commune of Barolo. The property and wine estate derive their name from the family name. It got named so to pay respect to Giacomo Brezza. In 1910, Giacomo, with Antonio Brezza, his father, bottled and produced their first wine bottle.
