An expression of two great terroirs of Barolo, La Morra and Serralunga, Dagromis takes its name from the Gromis family who previously owned one of the vineyards in the blend. Gaja Dagromis is a premium red wine produced in Italy’s Piedmont region, renowned for its world-class winemaking traditions. This wine is a blend of 97% Nebbiolo and 3% Barbera grapes which are carefully selected from the estate’s vineyards. It has distinct aromas of ripe dark cherries, plums, blackberries, and hints of spice with a full-bodied and elegant texture. On the palate, the flavors of dark fruits are balanced by the wine's firm acidity and ripe tannins, leading to a long and satisfying finish. Gaja Dagromis is aged in oak barrels for 12 months before bottling, which adds complexity and depth to the wine. This wine is perfect with grilled meat, roasted vegetables, and hearty stews. About the Winery

Gaja

Established in 1859, Gaja is a family-owned winery in Italy. Giovanni Gaja founded this winery, and his great-grandson, Angelo Gaja runs the estate today. The family produces grapes in the 250 acres of vineyards it owns in Italy's popular wine region, Piedmont. This estate is located exactly in the districts of Barbaresco and Barolo.
