Product Notes

La Spinetta Barbaresco Valeirano DOCG is an exquisite wine from one of the oldest wineries in Piedmont, Italy. It is made using Nebbiolo grapes, which were harvested from a single vineyard in the Valeirano region. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 20-22 months, which gives it a distinct flavor and aroma. It has a deep ruby red color and a complex bouquet of black cherry, licorice, and roasted coffee. The tannins are firm and well-structured, and the finish is long and smooth. This is a wine that is perfect for special occasions and pairs well with roast beef, lamb, and aged cheeses.

The journey of La Spinetta started in the early years of the 1960s with Giuseppe Rivetti and Lidia, his wife. The two were dedicated and expert farmers who held a colossal amount of knowledge and appreciation for the tradition of cultivation and winemaking. They also possessed immense curiosity and interest in knowing what the future holds. Giuseppe and Lidia exemplified respect, humility, and ambition in their work and passion. The values they hold dear define and signify the philosophy of the winery of La Spinetta to this day.
