Tasting Note

Medium dark crimson with purple tints. The aroma exhibits red berry fruit with spicy/peppery notes, and vanilla oak. Medium bodied showing sweet fruit and soft tannins, the palate has excellent depth and length of flavour while showing great structure.

Redman Shiraz is a delicious red wine that is specially crafted by the Redman family in the world-renowned Coonawarra region of South Australia. This full-bodied wine has a deep ruby color and boasts aromas of black fruit, mint, and a hint of oak. On the palate, Redman Shiraz offers intense flavors of ripe plum, blackberry, and a touch of chocolate, while the tannins are firm but well-integrated. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving behind flavors of black fruit and spice. Redman Shiraz is an excellent wine to pair with roasted meats or hearty stews, and is guaranteed to impress even the most discerning wine lovers.

About the Winery

Redman

The history of Redman starts with William (Bill) Redman. He arrived in Coonawarra in 1901 from avenue range. He was only 14 years old at the time, and he got work at a winery owned by John Riddoch. Bill worked there up to 1908 and took the time to learn the craft under Ewen McBain, a respected winemaker.
