Tasting Note

The 2021 Farrago delivers its classic aroma set-mandarin, pink grapefruit, flint and savoury grains-with purity and elegance. Well-defined flavours in the citrus spectrum-with a touch of something more exotic - are delivered in a beautifully weighted palate. A precise spine of fine acid runs long, culminating with a pithy grapefruit-powered finish. This wine will significantly benefit from time in the cellar.

Product Notes

Kooyong Farrago Chardonnay is a rich and creamy white wine that is crafted using grapes sourced from the cool-climate region of Mornington Peninsula in Australia. This beautifully aged chardonnay is barrel fermented with natural yeast to achieve a complex and nuanced flavor profile that is full of depth and character. The wine is full-bodied with a smooth, velvety texture and flavors of ripe stone fruits and subtle notes of oak. Aromas of citrus, honey, and vanilla provide a pleasing and refreshing finish. This wine is an excellent choice to pair with seafood, poultry, and cream-based dishes.
