Tasting Note

A cuirassier. Fleshy, extremely focused. Here Serralunga d’Alba is present with signs of licorice, spices and dark fruits. Cherry, currant and blueberry melt harmoniously together. Velvety and sweetly ripe, with splendidly integrated tannins. San Rocco gives an impression of great power, austerity, with an incredible aging potential. Pure complexity. A strong character. Monumental.

Product Notes

Azelia Barolo San Rocco is a superb red wine, made from the Nebbiolo grape variety, grown in the Barolo region of Piedmont, Italy. It is a wine of great character, complexity and depth, with a deep garnet color and a bouquet of aromas that range from roses, berries, truffles, and spices. On your palate, San Rocco is rich and elegant, with a firm tannic structure balanced by a smooth, long-lasting finish. It is a perfect pairing for braised meats, aged cheeses, and hearty dishes. This elegant wine is a true expression of the Barolo tradition, and a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Azelia winery.
