Tasting Note

This is a light coloured, very aromatic and characterful Garnacha. Notes of ripe raspberries and black cherries, alongside subtle fragrant notes of hibiscus, and herbs on the nose. This elegant wine boasts a full-bodied profile with delicate tannins that gracefully coat the palate. The juicy fruit is well balanced with the bright acidity, complemented by a savoury undertone on the finish.

Product Notes

Pegaso Arrebatacapas Garnacha is an elegant Spanish wine that captivates the senses with its intense red color and complex aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, complemented by hints of spices and vanilla. Made from 100% Garnacha grapes grown in the rugged terrain of the Castilla y León region, this wine embodies the essence of the land with its earthy undertones and mineral notes. On the palate, it is bold and full-bodied, with a velvety texture and well-balanced acidity. Pegaso Arrebatacapas Garnacha is a truly exceptional wine that showcases the unique character of Spanish Garnacha grapes in every sip.

About the Winery

Based in the Sierra de Gredos, Pegaso was founded through a collaboration between Rioja-born winemaker Telmo Rodríguez, his long-time partner Pablo Eguzkiza, and Carlos Sainz Sr, the two-time world rally champion. The winery takes its name from Pegaso, an iconic Spanish sports car brand of the 1940s, chosen as a symbol of heritage, elegance, and timeless design.
