Product Notes

Bodega Bouza Albarino wine is a crisp and refreshing white wine hailing from the prestigious Bouza winery in Uruguay. Made from 100% Albarino grapes, this wine showcases distinct aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers, and a subtle minerality. On the palate, flavors of ripe peach, green apple, and zesty lemon come alive, supported by a vibrant acidity and a lingering finish. Bodega Bouza Albarino is the perfect wine to enjoy on a hot summer day, pairing beautifully with seafood dishes, fresh salads, or simply sipping on its own. This wine embodies the essence of Uruguay’s terroir, delivering a unique and memorable tasting experience.

About the Winery

Bodega Bouza

Bodega Bouza is a boutique family-owned winery with 35 hectares of vineyards spread across four distinct sites. Best known for its outstanding Tannat — Uruguay’s flagship variety — the estate also cultivates Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Tempranillo, Riesling and Albariño, becoming the first producer in the country to plant Albariño commercially. Founded in 2000 by Juan and Elisa Bouza on the site of a restored 1940s winery, the estate has quickly established itself as one of Uruguay’s most highly regarded and critically acclaimed producers, particularly for its single-vineyard Tannat wines.
