Tasting Note

Opaque black, it sports a brooding bouquet of black fruits, tar, smoke, spice and violets. Multi layered and very ripe on the palate, it still carries lovely acidity and very polished full tannins.

Product Notes

Bodega Bouza Monte Vide Eu is a luxurious and sophisticated wine produced in the lush vineyards of Uruguay. This exceptional blend combines the rich flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tannat grapes to create a complex and unforgettable taste experience. The deep ruby color of the wine hints at the bold and intense flavors that await the palate. Notes of dark berries, chocolate, and spice tantalize the taste buds, while the silky smooth finish leaves a lasting impression. About the Winery

Bodega Bouza

Bodega Bouza is a boutique family-owned winery with 35 hectares of vineyards spread across four distinct sites. Best known for its outstanding Tannat — Uruguay’s flagship variety — the estate also cultivates Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Tempranillo, Riesling and Albariño, becoming the first producer in the country to plant Albariño commercially. Founded in 2000 by Juan and Elisa Bouza on the site of a restored 1940s winery, the estate has quickly established itself as one of Uruguay’s most highly regarded and critically acclaimed producers, particularly for its single-vineyard Tannat wines.
